Spartacus Blood and Sand is a very graphical TV series that generated a lot of controversy. Everything revolves around the life of one man that was enslaved and then became a gladiator. The constant shifts are sure to keep the viewer guessing as to what will happen next. The entire TV Series is filled with a world of sex, fame, violence and corruption.
Spartacus is played by Andy Whitfield and he is a Tracian gladiator. This is a historical figure that led a huge uprising against Romans. The main difference between the real character and the one in the movie is the fact that the producers basically created Blood and Sand to show the gladiator’s early life, before the one documented in history.
